About Me

I am currently a graduate student in anthropology at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. Originally from Maryland, I completed my undergraduate studies in cultural anthropology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and a master’s degree in anthropology from Brandeis. I study the intersection of religion and science across cultural contexts. My most recent project examines evangelical Christianity in South Africa and how people use conservative Christian frameworks to speak meaningfully to epistemological and social dilemmas facing the country.
